Who I See

Therapy for Young Adults

A Life Taking Shape

If you are between 18 and 29, you may be expected to know what you want next while still figuring out who you are. School, work, family expectations, and relationships can all ask for decisions at once. I work with young adults who want room to think without being told there is one right way to become an adult.

Maybe the path you thought you would take no longer fits. Perhaps you have done what everyone expected and still feel uncertain. We can start with the part that feels hardest to carry today, whether it is a practical choice or a question about identity.

What We Can Talk About

A session might begin with a conversation you keep replaying or a decision you have postponed. I can help you notice which expectations feel like yours and which ones came from somewhere else. We might look at what changes when you describe yourself outside an old family role or a diagnosis.

I draw on person-centered and narrative approaches when they fit. ACT may be useful when you want to connect everyday choices to your own values. We can also use practical CBT tools if a recurring thought keeps narrowing your options. No single model gets to define your experience.

Meeting Where You Are

Virtual therapy is available for young adults anywhere in Texas. In-home sessions may be possible around Killeen, Copperas Cove, and Temple when meeting in your own space is a good fit. You can talk with me about which format feels more workable for your schedule and the things you want to discuss.

We do not have to turn every uncertainty into a problem to solve immediately. Some questions need room to be asked more than once. I will take your goals seriously even when you are still deciding what they are.

Your Next Step

Send me a message with a little about what has brought you here. I handle my own scheduling and can talk through what a first meeting could look like. If you would rather have a free 15-minute introductory conversation before deciding on a session, that is fine too.

You are the expert on your own life, even when you are still learning its shape. I can bring curiosity, attention, and approaches that fit you rather than ask you to arrive with a finished plan.

You do not need a finished plan for your twenties.
