Therapy in Lampasas, TX

When an Old Role No Longer Fits

A transition does not always arrive as one dramatic event. Sometimes you notice that the role you have filled for years no longer tells the whole story. I work with adults and seniors in Lampasas who are asking what comes next, including people in midlife who have spent a long time looking after others.

You may be looking after everyone else while your own questions keep getting put off. I can make room to talk about what has changed and what you miss, even when nothing dramatic has happened.

Listening for Your Own Words

We could begin with the sentence you keep returning to when the house is quiet. Narrative therapy can help us look at how a familiar account of your life took shape. I may also draw on ACT to talk about what matters to you now, without demanding that every uncertainty be settled in a single session.

The roles you have held for a long time can be hard to question. We can look at which parts still matter to you and which parts feel borrowed from someone else’s expectations.

Location Without an Office

I do not have an office in Lampasas. Virtual therapy is available while you are in Texas; in-home work may be possible when it is a good fit, so ask when you reach out.

I handle scheduling myself and can discuss what you hope to make time for in our conversations. You can ask practical questions before choosing a time.

Where to Begin

Send me a message about the change that has been on your mind. If you would rather have a free 15-minute introductory conversation before scheduling, we can do that too.

If the question is what comes next, tell me what has changed. I do not expect you to arrive with an answer. We can begin with whichever part of your story you want to share.
