Therapy in Killeen, TX
Starting Close to Home
There can be a difference between making time for yourself and finding a place that feels workable. In Killeen, I can talk with you about both. I work with children, teens, adults, families, and seniors. You might come in with a clear concern or only a sense that something in daily life has become hard to carry.
I know that finding time to talk can be difficult when other people depend on you. We can start with the part of your week that keeps coming back to mind, even if you have not found words for it yet.
From Survival to Conversation
If trauma and its lasting effects are part of your story, we can begin with safety and stability. A session may be about the ordinary moments when a reaction catches you off guard. I can draw on trauma-informed care and narrative ideas without asking you to explain your whole history at once.
I would ask what those reactions mean to you, and what helps you feel steady enough to talk. You can tell me when a question is too much. I want our work to fit the person sitting with me.
How Meeting Can Work
I am based in Killeen, in Bell County, and I do not have an office. In-home therapy may be available when it is a good fit for you and the work; virtual therapy is also available. In-home sessions are available within about a 45-minute radius of Killeen.
Virtual sessions are $175 and in-home sessions are $200 per session. I arrange my own schedule, including travel time when we meet at home. We can talk through practical questions before deciding on a time.
Where to Begin
Send me a message about what you would like to discuss. You can ask about how I work before we schedule anything, and you can start with a free 15-minute introductory conversation if you'd like.
You can begin with what is happening in your daily life, whether that is a specific concern or something you cannot yet name. I will listen before suggesting a direction. We can decide what to focus on together.
