Therapy in Copperas Cove, TX

When the Family Is Part of the Picture

When things at home are tense, it can be difficult to know whose concern to name first. I offer family therapy and parenting support as well as work with individuals in Copperas Cove. We can pay attention to the relationships around a problem without making one person responsible for every part of it.

You may be hearing several versions of the same difficult moment at home. I would want to hear what each person notices, including the person who has been quiet about it. We can decide together where to begin.

Looking at More Than One View

Family systems ideas can help us notice a repeated exchange: who steps in, who pulls back, and what happens next. Sometimes a child or teen needs a different way to show what is going on. I may draw on play therapy with younger children or take time to hear each person in their own words.

If a familiar argument starts in the same place each time, we can slow it down and look at what each person needs. I will ask what has already been tried and listen for what gets missed when everyone is upset.

Choices for Meeting

Copperas Cove is west of Killeen in Coryell County. I do not have an office. In-home therapy may be available when it is a good fit for the family and the work; virtual therapy is also available.

Virtual sessions cost $175 and in-home sessions cost $200 per session. I handle the scheduling myself, especially when travel is involved. We can talk about who might take part before choosing a time.

The Next Small Step

Send me a message about what has been happening in your family. If you are unsure who should join the first conversation, we can talk about that in a free 15-minute introductory conversation before scheduling.

Tell me which part of family life has felt hardest to talk about lately. We can start there, without making a child or parent carry the whole problem. I will listen to what each person brings.
