What I Help With

Individual Therapy for Relationship Concerns

Relationships Show Up Everywhere

Relationship concerns are not limited to one kind of relationship. You may be trying to understand tension with a parent, distance from a friend, conflict at work, or your place within a chosen family.

I offer individual therapy for these concerns. I do not offer couples therapy. The focus stays on your experience, your patterns, your choices, and the relationships that matter in your life.

What We Can Notice

Sessions may explore what happens when conflict starts, what you learned about closeness, or why one interaction keeps replaying in your mind. We can also practice a boundary or find clearer words for something you have avoided saying.

Attachment-based and family systems perspectives can help us see patterns across relationships. Narrative and person-centered work leave room for your account rather than reducing the problem to one difficult exchange.

Trying Different Words

You can bring in a recent conversation and we can slow it down together. What did you hear? What did you want to say? What did you do to protect yourself when the exchange became uncomfortable? Sometimes we will practice a boundary or a direct request. Sometimes the useful work is understanding why this particular relationship reaches such a tender place.

Private Options Across Texas

Individual sessions are available virtually anywhere in Texas. In-home therapy around Killeen, Copperas Cove, and Temple may also be possible when meeting there makes sense for the work and everyone in the home understands the need for privacy.

My Approach explains how I use relationship within therapy itself. Individual Therapy covers other concerns, including anxiety, identity, and stress, that may be connected to what is happening between you and others.

Starting With Your Side of the Story

Send me a message about the relationship that has been weighing on you and what you want help understanding. I keep my own schedule and will answer you directly about available appointments.

You can start with a free 15-minute introductory conversation before setting a time if you'd like. You can use it to ask about individual work and decide whether my way of working feels like a reasonable fit.

Your relationships can be discussed without reducing anyone to a villain.
